Job summary

Socium - Teams Done Differently is seeking a QA Automation Tester for a project-based assignment in Metro Manila. The role involves building and running automated tests with Playwright and following the project test plan and strategy.

Immediate start is preferred with onsite work for the first 2 months in Alabang, Muntinlupa. After the initial period, the position shifts to a hybrid model with 2-3 days onsite per week.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in QA / test automation.
• Solid grasp of test plans, test strategy and the software testing lifecycle.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray, TestRail).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Carry out testing in line with the agreed test plan and automation test strategy.
• Run automated regression, functional and end-to-end tests.
• Find, document and track defects, and work with developers to resolve them.
• Report on test coverage, results and quality risks to the project team.
• Help improve automation frameworks and QA processes over time.

About the role

We are partnering with a Shared Services organisation in the real estate industry to find a QA Automation Tester for a project assignment. You'll help keep releases high quality by building and running automated tests with Playwright, following the project's test plan and test strategy.

Work arrangement

• Project-based assignment
• First 2 months: fully onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa
• After that: hybrid, 2-3 days a week onsite
• Immediate start. Candidates who can join ASAP are preferred
