A leading company in the food industry is seeking a QA Associate to actively participate in the development of their food safety management system. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Food Technology, and will be responsible for internal audits, maintaining food safety records, and assisting with third-party audits. The QA Associate (FSMS) is expected to actively participate in the development of the Company’s food safety management system with focus on the drafting, implementation, and maintenance of technical documents. Participate in the development and validation of product and process standards to be followed across all Mister Donut plants nationwide, focusing on internal food safety audit, process compliance audit, and validation of new product launches.
Job Description:
Continuously monitor the performance of the food safety management system in terms of its measurable food safety objectives through periodic internal audit of food safety and process compliance standards.
Collaborate with fellow food safety team members in the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Company’s food safety system.
Report any observed noncompliance of assigned plants to the Company’s product and process standards.
Regularly review and maintain the Company’s food safety records.
Prepare for and participate in third party audits and inspections.
Coordinate with assigned plants in the scaling, implementation, and maintenance of the food safety management system.
Regularly review and report the assigned plants’ self-audit results.
Qualifications:
Graduate of BS Food Technology or related courses.
Experience in the documentation of food safety systems (SSOP, Pest Control Program, GMP, HACCP)
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Advanced knowledge or understanding Food Safety Management Systems (HACCP & ISO 22000)
Experience in the implementation of GMP and SSOP
Preferably with cGMP awareness and/or HACCP awareness training.
Highly proficient in the use of google workspace apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft applications.
Good oral and written English skills.
Technical knowledge in the implementation of food safety prerequisite programs.
Technical knowledge in food laws and regulations.
Basic knowledge in the concepts of Food Fraud, Food Defense, and Product Recall and Withdrawal.
Willing to work in Manggahan, Pasig and report full time on-site.
