About the Role

ZAMA Precision Industry Manufacturing Philippines, Inc. is seeking a dedicated QMS Head to join our dynamic team in Santo Tomas City, Batangas. As the QMS Head, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our Quality Management System, ensuring our manufacturing processes adhere to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation and benefits.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • IMS Implementation: Ensure that the Integrated Management System (IMS) is effectively implemented throughout the manufacturing process.

    • Compliance and Continuous Improvement: Ensure all specified internal and external quality requirements and targets are met, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction.

    • Audit Management: Conduct internal audits across all departments periodically to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.

    • Management Review Meetings: Plan and execute Management Review meetings periodically to assess the performance of the quality management system and implement necessary actions.

    • Document Control: Manage and control the document system, ensuring compliance with new product development processes and maintaining accurate records.

    • IMS Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for IMS-related matters, facilitating communication and coordination between departments.

    • Quality Culture Development: Develop and promote a quality culture through continuous training and awareness programs for employees at all levels.

    Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Communication: Ensure that the quality management system is clearly communicated to all employees and stakeholders on a regular basis.

    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with IMS, Key Operating Procedures (KOPs), and other external or legal requirements.

    • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and ensure that quality management system goals and objectives are met by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).

    • Process Audits: Conduct periodic audits of processes to ensure the quality, environmental, safety, and health management systems are implemented, maintained, and continuously improved.

    • Audit Reporting: Report periodically on the performance of workplace audits and similar assessments.

    • Authority to Halt Production: Possess the authority to discontinue production to address safety or quality issues promptly.

    • Internal Auditing: Manage internal auditors and perform lead auditor tasks to uphold quality standards.

    • Documentation Management: Oversee the entire document lifecycle, from registration to disposal, ensuring proper documentation practices.

    Other Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Workplace Audits: Perform workplace audits to identify and address quality and safety concerns.

    • IMS Programs and Projects: Co-lead IMS programs and projects, contributing to their successful implementation.

    • Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or Superior.

What We're Looking For

  • Educational Background: Graduate of any Business Management program or a 5-year technical engineering course.

  • Experience: Minimum of 12 to 15 years of solid working experience as a QMS Specialist or QMS Engineer.

  • Certifications: Certified Lead Auditor certification is mandatory.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in document control systems.

    • Comprehensive understanding of quality management tools and methodologies, including:

      • 7 QC Tools: A set of fundamental instruments used to identify and solve quality-related issues.

      • 8D Problem-Solving Methodology: A systematic approach to identify, correct, and eliminate recurring problems, focusing on product and process improvement.

      • Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA): A structured technique for evaluating processes to identify where and how they might fail and assessing the relative impact of different failures.

  • Industry Standards: Familiarity with AIAG IATF 16949 technical requirements and their implementation.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Hours: Willingness to render extended overtime during regular days, rest days, and/or holidays as needed to support continuous production, supplier, or customer meetings.

  • Global Collaboration: Availability to attend meetings with external parties' projects in different time zones (Americas, Europe).

  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel overseas for business trips as required.
