Job description

He/She should have the authority and responsibilities to manage the production department,

which covers:

1. Approval of quality control procedures such as sampling instructions, specifications,

test methods, and other QC procedures.

2. Responsible for the product quality control of the plant. Approving, Rejecting,

and Releasing of Finished Goods in the absence of the Plant Manager.

3. Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend

necessary corrective actions.

4. Involves in the implementation and documentation control of the SOPs for the entire

operation from the incoming shipment to the final shipping out. These include

releasing MSDS, and CoA and compiling the said documents

5. Management of documents through systematic filing and updating files.

6. Works directly with all departments on quality issues and in preventative and

corrective action.

7. Assist to facilitate problem-solving activity through TQM (Total Quality Management),

quality systems tools, and methods. Works with the line and process Team Leaders

in identifying negative quality trends and repetitive defects. Assists in the problem-

solving process.

8. Assist General Manager in investigating customer complaints. Works with

appropriate management to resolve issues. Assists process managers in preparing

customer complaint responses and maintains a database of all customer complaints.

9. Approval of quality control procedures such as sampling instruction, specifications,

test methods, and other QC procedures.

10. Maintenance of quality laboratory, including equipment and laboratory apparatus

11. Initial and continuous training of QC personnel

12. Retention of records

13. Help or assist in compliance with regulations set by the Food and Drug

Administration (FDA)
