Job summary

Am-Europharma Corporation in Laguna Calamba is seeking a detail-oriented quality inspector to conduct physical, visual, and dimensional inspections of raw materials, packaging, and components. You will sample shipments per ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 / AQL plans and document findings with status tags.

You will identify non-conforming materials, issue NCRs, and coordinate with purchasing and warehouse for disposition, while maintaining retention sample records and an up-to-date digital inventory for

Qualifications

• College graduate with background in manufacturing or with technical experience with precision measuring instruments (caliper, balance) or basic lab equipment.
• Proficiency in sampling procedures and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain good hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed physical, visual, and dimensional inspections of incoming raw materials, packaging, and components against specifications, certificate of analysis/ inspection.
• Sample incoming shipments according to established sampling plans (e.g., ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 / AQL standards).
• Document inspection reports and findings, posting of status tags for sampled and released items.
• Identify non-conforming materials, apply rejection tags and assist in issuance of the quality notification report (NCR) and coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams for disposition.
• Log, label, and archive retention samples (raw materials, packaging, and finished goods) systematically upon release.
• Maintain an up-to-date, digitized inventory log of all retained samples, ensuring quick traceability for customer complaints, quality investigations, or regulatory inquiries.
• Monitor and record environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, cleanroom pressure) within the retention sample room daily.
• Manage storage capacity, ensuring proper shelf organization, segregation, and labeling to prevent cross-contamination or misplacement.
