Job summary

365 Mechanix is seeking a Test Analyst to ensure the quality of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. You will work closely with consultants, developers and client stakeholders to plan and execute structured testing across the project lifecycle, identifying issues early and validating acceptance criteria to give confidence for go-live.

Qualifications

• Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
• Working knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, SDLC and STLC.
• ISTQB Foundation Certification (preferred).
• Experience with automated testing tools (preferred).
• Experience testing integrations, APIs and data migration processes (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, test scenarios, test cases and test scripts aligned to business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Translate functional and technical designs into clear, traceable test coverage.
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression and UAT testing across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
• Support and coordinate SIT and UAT with client stakeholders.
• Verify integrations, workflows, security roles and data migration outcomes.
• Record, track and manage defects in Azure DevOps with clear reproduction steps and priority/severity.

About the role

The Test Analyst is responsible for the quality of the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions we deliver. Working closely with consultants, developers, project managers and client stakeholders, this role plans and executes structured testing across the project lifecycle — identifying issues early, validating that solutions meet business requirements and acceptance criteria, and giving our delivery teams and clients confidence to go live.

Key responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, test scenarios, test cases and test scripts aligned to business requirements and acceptance criteria
• Translate functional and technical designs into clear, traceable test coverage
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression and user acceptance testing across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions
• Support and coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with client stakeholders
• Verify integrations, workflows, security roles and data migration outcomes against expected results
• Record, track and manage defects through to resolution in Azure DevOps (or equivalent), with clear reproduction steps and priority/severity ratings
• Participate in defect triage meetings, working with developers and consultants to agree fixes and retesting approach
• Maintain accurate testing documentation and test evidence to support project governance and client sign-off
• Work closely with project teams to reduce defects, improve solution quality and support successful go-lives
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of 365 Mechanix's testing practices, templates and standards

About you

• Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform solutions
• Working knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, SDLC and STLC
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar test management and defect-tracking tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, comfortable working directly with client teams
• A genuine commitment to quality and a proactive approach to identifying risk
• ISTQB Foundation Certification (preferred)
• Experience with automated testing tools (preferred)
• Experience testing integrations, APIs and data migration processes (preferred)
