Job summary

VAST LIGHTING CORP. is seeking a QA/QC professional to assist the QA Supervisor in daily quality assurance operations. You will monitor products to meet company quality standards and customer requirements, and supervise QA/QC inspectors with daily tasks.

You will review results, identify defects, coordinate with Production, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions. Strong leadership, organizational, and documentation skills are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in quality-related field.
• 2–3 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in quality inspection, process control and defect identification.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and documentation is an advantage.
• Familiar with 5S, root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to identify quality problems.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends or holidays as required.
• Physically fit for manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the QA Supervisor in managing daily QA operations.
• Monitor products to meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Assist in supervising QA/QC inspectors and daily tasks.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks during production.
• Review inspection results and identify defects.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments on quality concerns.
• Investigate root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Document inspection reports and QA records.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards.
• Assist in internal and customer audits and related activities.
• Support training of QA/QC personnel on procedures.
• Report significant findings to QA Supervisor.
• Perform other QA duties as assigned by Management.
