Job summary

Gencore Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to oversee quality assurance and quality control across our construction projects. You will lead the QA/QC team to ensure works comply with project specifications, codes, standards, client requirements, and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related engineering.
• PRC Licensed Engineer or Registered Architect.
• 3–5 years in a QA/QC Manager or supervisory role.
• Extensive experience in vertical, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, QA/QC procedures, inspection and testing requirements, building codes and engineering standards, ISO 9001.
• Proficient in reading and reviewing construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Prepare, review, and monitor PQP, ITP, Method Statements, and quality procedures.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable building codes.
• Conduct quality inspections, audits, and surveillance across project sites.
• Review and approve inspection reports, test results, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, Clients, and Subcontractors on quality-related matters.
• Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely closure.
• Ensure materials delivered to the site comply with approved specifications and standards.
• Monitor project quality performance and prepare periodic QA/QC reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
• Conduct quality training and awareness programs for project personnel.
• Participate in project handover, punch listing, and final acceptance inspections.
