Job summary

Everblue Development and Construction Inc. is seeking a dedicated QA/QC professional to join our team in Ubay, Bohol. This full-time role focuses on ensuring construction work meets industry standards, codes, and client expectations.

You will conduct site inspections, maintain quality records, and collaborate with project teams to implement corrective actions. The ideal candidate has a recognised QA/QC or Civil Engineering qualification and 3–5 years of hands-on experience in construction QA/QC.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of practical experience in construction QA/QC roles
• Knowledge of Philippine building codes and regulations
• Proficiency with quality control testing equipment and inspection tools
• Ability to document, track, and report quality issues and non-conformances
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Good communication in English and Filipino

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of sites, materials, and workmanship for compliance with plans and specs
• Prepare and maintain quality control documentation (inspection reports, NCRs, corrective actions)
• Test and verify quality of construction materials during installation
• Identify defects and document them for remediation
• Collaborate with PMs, contractors, and engineers to address quality concerns
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and environmental rules
• Conduct quality audits throughout project phases from foundation to completion
• Maintain accurate records and generate quality performance reports for stakeholders
• Provide training to site personnel on quality standards and procedures

About the role

Everblue Development and Construction Inc. is seeking a dedicated QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) professional to join our team in Ubay, Bohol. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of quality across all our construction projects. As QA/QC, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction work meets or exceeds industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering excellence and protecting the reputation of Everblue Development and Construction Inc.

Key responsibilities

1. Conducting routine inspections of construction sites, materials, and workmanship to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications
2. Preparing and maintaining detailed quality control documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action records
3. Testing and verifying the quality of construction materials, including concrete, steel, aggregates, and other components before and during installation
4. Identifying defects, deviations, or quality issues and documenting them for immediate remediation
5. Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and engineers to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective measures
6. Ensuring all construction activities comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations
7. Conducting quality audits and assessments throughout all project phases, from foundation to completion
8. Maintaining accurate records and generating quality performance reports for project stakeholders
9. Providing training and guidance to site personnel on quality standards and procedures

What we're looking for

1. A recognised qualification in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
2. Minimum 3–5 years of practical experience in construction quality assurance and quality control roles
3. Demonstrated knowledge of construction standards, building codes, and relevant regulations in the Philippines
4. Proficiency in using quality control testing equipment and inspection tools
5. Strong understanding of construction materials and their proper application in building projects
6. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies in construction work
7. Sound knowledge of concrete testing, structural inspections, and material certifications
8. Ability to communicate effectively with site teams, management, and clients in English and Filipino
9. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple inspection schedules and documentation
10. Proficiency in using basic computer applications and data recording systems
11. Physical fitness to conduct regular site inspections and walkthroughs
12. Preferred experience with residential, commercial, or mixed-use development projects
