Our goal is to enable you to have a long enduring career at Blitzy with opportunity for advancement throughout your career at the company. If you want a role you can turn into a career, read on! About Blitzy

Blitzy is a Cambridge, MA based AI software development platform on a mission to revolutionize the software development life cycle by autonomously building custom software to unlock the next industrial revolution. We're transforming how enterprises build software, turning enterprise requirements into production-ready code with an agentic software development platform that can autonomously execute 80% of the quantum of software development work. We're backed by multiple tier 1 investors, and have proven success as founders of previous start-ups.

Location

Pune, India (On-site)

The Role

We're looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed QA Manual Engineer to join our team and help ensure our AI platform delivers enterprise-grade reliability and exceptional user experience. You'll be a hands‑on individual contributor, spending the majority of your time crafting thorough test cases and executing manual testing across web and mobile applications. Working directly alongside our founding designer and engineering teams, you'll be on the front lines of quality for one of the most technically ambitious products being built today.

What Success Looks Like
  • You create comprehensive test cases that cover all scenarios for new features and regression testing.

  • You execute thorough manual testing across web and mobile applications, catching issues before they reach production.

  • You collaborate closely with our founding designer to understand UX requirements and translate them into precise test coverage.

  • You manage defects and bugs in Jira with accuracy, clarity, and proper prioritization.

  • You proactively identify edge cases and potential failure points through exploratory testing.

  • You maintain strong communication with engineering, product, and design teams to ensure alignment on quality standards.

  • You contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization.

Areas of Ownership
  • Define and execute comprehensive manual test cases for new features based on UX design and requirements.

  • Own regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact across releases.

  • Lead exploratory testing efforts to surface edge cases and potential issues before they reach customers.

  • Manage defect tracking in Jira — accurate ticket creation, assignment, and priority setting.

  • Execute API testing to verify front‑end and back‑end system integrations.

  • Ensure thorough coverage of user workflows and end‑to‑end experiences across web and mobile.

  • Partner with the Automation Engineer to identify opportunities to automate repetitive manual tests.

Required Experience
  • 3+ years of QA experience with a strong emphasis on manual testing.

  • Expert‑level manual testing skills across web and mobile applications.

  • Deep understanding of UX design principles and requirements analysis.

  • Experience with API testing and integration testing.

  • Strong knowledge of test case design, execution, and management.

  • Hands‑on experience with bug tracking tools (Jira preferred).

  • Experience working within Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.

  • Strong attention to detail with a user‑focused mindset.

What Makes You Stand Out
  • ISTQB certification or similar QA certifications.

  • Hands‑on exposure to Python and Selenium automation frameworks.

  • Experience testing AI/ML products or complex enterprise software.

  • Background spanning both manual and automation testing.

  • Experience with API testing, microservices, and distributed systems.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Experience with performance and load testing.

  • Track record of implementing QA best practices from scratch in a fast‑moving environment.

What Makes This Role Different

This is not a maintenance role at a legacy company. You'll be testing software that writes software — validating the output of an autonomous AI platform used by Fortune 500 enterprises. The problems you'll encounter are novel, the pace is fast, and the quality bar is high. As an IC, you'll have direct influence over how quality is practiced at a company building one of the most ambitious products in enterprise AI today. Your work will be seen, felt, and valued from day one.
