Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Quality Assurance Leader in Manila, Philippines to lead the quality engineering strategy for complex digital ecosystems. You will drive automation-first testing initiatives and lead a team of QA engineers focused on enhancing the digital transformation.

The ideal candidate has over 6 years in software QA, experience in leadership, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. This role offers an opportunity to work with modern technologies and strategic leadership visibility.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years in software QA/quality engineering; 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Strong experience in automation testing (functional, API, regression).
• Knowledge of CI/CD, shift-left testing, and Agile delivery environments.

Job Description

• Define and lead quality engineering strategy, standards, and governance across digital products
• Drive adoption of automation-first testing frameworks (functional, API, performance)
• Manage QA teams, including automation engineers and test analysts, ensuring capability growth
• Oversee test planning, execution, UAT, and release readiness with quality gates in place
• Monitor defects, lead root cause analysis, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, UX, and operations teams

The Successful Applicant

• 6-10 years in software QA/quality engineering; 3+ years in leadership roles
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Strong experience in automation testing (functional, API, regression)
• Hands-on expertise with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
• Knowledge of CI/CD, shift-left testing, and Agile delivery environments
• Strong capabilities in API validation, performance testing, and defect analysis
