Job summary

COHERENT in the Philippines seeks a senior quality engineer to establish and apply QA protocols for raw materials and finished products, oversee SPC processes, and lead cross-functional teams in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering with 5+ years in semiconductors or related electronics/optoelectronics, plus strong problem-solving and data analysis skills. Onsite role with room for career growth within COHERENT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or equivalent with 5+ years in semiconductors/electronics.
• Strong leadership to guide cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with SPC, FMEA, 8D, CAPA and RCA.
• Familiar with ISO 9001/14001/45001 management systems.
• Proficient in statistical analysis; JMP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish, evaluate, revise, and apply QA protocols to inspect materials and products.
• Ensure manufacturing inspection, sampling and SPC procedures are followed.
• Analyze inspection data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
• Qualify and optimize processes with Gage R&R, CAPA, and DOE.
• Investigate failures and implement action plans for MRB findings.
