Job summary

Coins.ph is hiring a Software Tester to own business testing across payment systems, accounts, and merchant backends. You will design test cases, execute them, and help ensure stable launches. You will collaborate across teams to identify risks and maintain quality.

You will also support automation efforts, execute interface and UI tests, and contribute to improving regression efficiency through automated scripts. Prior experience in payments or finance is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing experience.
• Able to independently design and execute test cases for complex scenarios.
• Experience in interface/UI automation testing with basic coding skills (Python/Java).
• Proficient in SQL and data verification.
• Background in payments, finance, or transaction domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for business testing of payment systems, accounts, transactions, merchant backends and other products, including test case design, execution, defect tracking and regression verification
• Participate in requirement and solution reviews, identify business risks, and ensure product quality and launch stability
• Perform interface and functional testing, assist in locating production issues, and drive issue closure
• Support automation testing, develop and maintain automated scripts to improve regression efficiency

Requirements

• 5+ year of software testing experience, familiar with the full testing lifecycle
• Solid business testing capability, able to independently design and execute test cases for complex scenarios
• Experience in interface/UI automation testing, with basic coding skills (Python/Java preferred)
• Proficient in SQL, clear logical thinking, strong sense of responsibility
• Background in payment, finance or transaction industry is a plus
