Job summary

Amadeus Marketing Phils, Inc. seeks a QA Engineer II to drive manual and automated testing of Java backend applications in travel. You will design test cases, execute them, and contribute to quality processes within CI/CD pipelines.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering, hands-on QA experience with Selenium and Cypress, and familiarity with Agile, regression, and performance testing.

Excellent problem solving and communication are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Experience in QA or software testing, with experience in both manual and automated testing.
Familiarity with Selenium and Cypress.
Understanding of software development life cycle methodologies (Agile).

Responsibilities

Define and implement test strategies, plans and cases (functional and non-functional), ensuring traceability with requirements.
Design and execute test cases, validate features, and provide go/no-go decisions based on exit criteria.
Maintain and optimize test cases in regression and CI/CD pipelines, addressing flaky tests and updating coverage.
Manage defects by reporting, investigating, and verifying fixes to ensure production quality.
