Job summary

Tidal Commerce seeks a meticulous QA Engineer to ensure quality across software products. You will design test plans, execute tests, and automate where possible, collaborating closely with developers to identify and fix defects throughout the SDLC.

Ideal candidates have strong API testing experience (REST/GraphQL), automation skills with Selenium or Appium, and familiarity with CI/CD and ecommerce integrations. Remote collaboration from India is supported with US Eastern Time alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as QA Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience testing REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with ECommerce integrations.
• Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Appium).
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with development to design comprehensive test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects in bug systems.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts to improve efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis and suggest fixes.
• Participate in code reviews from a QA perspective.
• Stay updated on QA best practices and testing trends.
• Communicate results and quality metrics to stakeholders.
