The candidate should perform API and backend data validation (SQL) and participate in Agile ceremonies, ensuring traceability from requirements to defects and supporting release validation.

Qualifications

• Must have strong manual testing experience across functional, integration, regression and UAT.
• Good working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Basic to intermediate understanding of API testing concepts and tools such as Postman.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing across Retail and eCommerce applications.
• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Execute test cases, log defects, retest fixes, and support test closure activities.
• Validate APIs and backend data using SQL queries.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA Leads to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
• Support release validation and production verification activities.
• Identify defects, risks, and gaps during testing and communicate them proactively.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practices.

Role SummarySeeking 1 B1 Senior Test Engineer with strong functional testing experience across Retail and eCommerce platforms.
