Job summary

The QA Engineer at eFlexervices, Inc. will help ensure high quality across the CRM, mobile app, add-ins, and Chrome extensions.

You’ll work with the QA Engineering Director to develop and maintain test documents, run daily tests, and report defects as needed. You’ll develop test strategies, support data governance, implement tests across platforms, translate requirements into test cases, reproduce and debug issues, and collaborate with Automation Engineers to create robust automation projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA.
• Experience with GitHub and Postman.
• Experience with Jira or Kanban.
• Testing web-based applications and using Chrome DevTools.
• Remote work-from-home experience in QA.

Responsibilities

Summary

The QA Engineer is a highly motivated individual who will help ensure a high level of quality of the CRM, mobile app, add-ins, and Chrome extensions. You’ll work closely with the QA Engineering Director to develop and maintain several test documents, monitor and execute daily test runs, and report defects as necessary.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop test strategies, plans, test cases, and engineering best practices related to software test engineering.
• Support data governance and data profiling efforts to ensure data quality and proper metadata documentation for data lineage.
• Implement and execute test strategies on all supported platforms to help improve the overall quality and test coverage.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineers to understand requirements, translate them into test cases, and determine product quality goals and measurements.
• Reproduce, isolate, and debug issues, providing detailed bug reports.
• Validate the collected data from disparate systems.
• Identify edge cases that can potentially break or compromise data quality or integrity.
• Collaborate with the Automation Engineers to understand the test case requirements to create comprehensive test automation projects.
• Detecting bugs and executing tests.
• Works independently on assigned tasks/projects.
• Follows the established test plan.
• Automation: Writes and maintains scripts for existing frameworks.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in the QA field.
• Experience with GitHub.
• Experience writing tests and creating collections in Postman.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Jira or other Kanban board-style software.
• Experience in testing web-based applications.
• Experience using Chrome DevTools for inspecting browser errors and issues.
• Prior remote work-from-home experience in a QA role.

You have an advantage if you have:

• 1+ years of current experience with WebdriverIO.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CodeBuild and CodePipeline.
• Prior work in a SaaS company.
