Job summary

inRiver is seeking a QA Specialist with deep expertise in test automation to raise the quality bar across the Inriver platform. You will own and evolve our automated testing strategy—spanning API, integration, UI, and performance testing—and embed quality practices into every stage of the development lifecycle.

We value a mature automation framework and strong collaboration with developers, product owners, and SRE teams to ensure platform stability at scale.

Qualifications

5+ years in software quality assurance with focus on test automation.
Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
Strong API and contract testing experience with modern tools.
CI/CD integration and test automation in build/release workflows.
Performance/load testing and UI testing experience.

Responsibilities

Drive and improve the test automation strategy across the platform.
Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and CI/CD-integrated suites.
Develop API and contract tests for REST APIs and integrations.
Implement performance/load testing for production-scale validation.
Champion shift-left testing and collaborate with developers to improve testability.
Define and track quality metrics and test coverage.
Mentor engineers on testing practices and automation patterns.
Contribute to incident analysis and root-cause investigations.
Evaluate and introduce new tooling and approaches for automation.
