Job summary

ConnectOS is seeking a Quality Engineer in the Philippines. You will design, automate, and maintain tests and quality gates to enable safe releases, embedding quality early in requirements and design.

You will build automated suites across UI, API, and integration layers and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. You will coach teammates on quality practices, contribute to reusable frameworks, and collaborate with developers, the Lead Engineer, and Product stakeholders to drive reliable outcomes

Qualifications

Hands-on experience designing and implementing test strategies that shift-left quality into early phases.
Strong debugging and defect analysis skills with evidence-based decision making.
Experience with API and database testing to validate data and integration points.
Proficient in defect management and triage using JIRA or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Design, automate, and maintain tests and quality gates across UI, API, and integration layers.
Champion shift-left quality across the squad and embed quality in requirements and design.
Coach engineers on quality practices and contribute to reusable test frameworks.
Collaborate with developers, Lead Engineer, and Product stakeholders to deliver reliable outcomes.
