Job summary
ConnectOS is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer embedded in an offshore squad to design, automate, and maintain tests and quality gates for safe software releases. The role champions shift-left quality, embedding practices early in requirements and design.
You will build automated suites across UI, API, and integration layers, integrate tests into the CI/CD pipeline, coach peers on quality practices, and collaborate with developers, the Lead Engineer, and Product stakeholders to deliver
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated tests.
- Design and implement test strategies, quality gates, and shift-left practices.
- Experience with API testing (Postman) and database testing (SQL).
- Defect analysis and debugging using JIRA and related tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, automate, and maintain tests and quality gates for releases.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to protect release confidence.
- Coach engineers on quality practices and contribute to reusable test frameworks.
- Collaborate with developers, the Lead Engineer, and Product stakeholders to deliver reliable outcomes.
