Job summary

ING is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join the Shared Technology team in Manila. You will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for critical banking services, collaborating with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders across ING's global network.

You'll implement test frameworks, perform functional and end-to-end testing, support CI/CD, and promote quality-first practices. This role offers an international, learning-oriented environment with opportunities to influence

Qualifications

• Proven experience in QA and test automation engineering.
• Strong programming experience in Java.
• Hands-on with automation frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber.
• Experience using Azure DevOps and modern software delivery practices.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product teams to define testing strategies.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Support and improve CI/CD and continuous testing practices.
• Promote quality-first engineering across the SDLC.
• Contribute to process improvements to increase testing efficiency.
