Job summary

Eclaro is seeking a Mid-Level QA Automation Engineer to join our team in the Philippines. This role focuses on designing and executing manual and automated tests for web and API applications, with emphasis on automation within CI pipelines.

Ideal candidates bring 3–6 years in software testing, 2–3 years in automation, and hands-on experience with Playwright/Selenium/Cypress. Insurance domain exposure is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in software testing with 2–3 years in automation
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or similar
• API testing experience (Postman or similar)
• Basic to intermediate SQL
• Agile/Scrum experience
• 1–3 years in insurance (P&C, commercial, or life)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and run manual and automated tests for web and API apps
• Maintain reliable automation suites in CI
• Validate REST and SOAP APIs; check data with SQL
• Run regression, integration, and UAT testing
• Track defects to resolution
• Collaborate with Devs and POs; join Agile ceremonies
• Improve test coverage and QA processes
