Job summary

White Cloak Technologies, Inc. is seeking a QA Automation Test Engineer in Makati to design, develop, and execute automated UI, API, and integration tests.

You will work closely with Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps to embed automation into CI/CD pipelines and improve QA processes. The role requires 2–3 years in automation testing, experience with Playwright or Cypress, and proficiency in at least one major programming language.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of automation testing experience.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium/WebDriver.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or C# for writing automated scripts.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies including test planning, risk-based testing, regression strategies, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience testing APIs using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD automation and pipeline integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks to improve reusability, scalability, and reliability.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and root causes.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
• Conduct regression, smoke, sanity, and data-driven testing to ensure application stability across releases.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams during requirement reviews and sprint planning.
• Track, document, and report test outcomes and quality metrics.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and automation strategies.
