Job summary

Casheeno in the Philippines is seeking a QA automation engineer to own our automated suite across mobile and API, ensuring tests add value and guard releases.

You will build and maintain UI tests for Android and iOS, cover key flows such as rewards, wallet and payout end-to-end, write API-level tests, and wire the suite into CI so failures block a release. You’ll decide what should not be automated and chase lower flakiness.

Qualifications

Our release pipeline gates on tests, and we want that gate to be much stronger. You will own the automated suite across mobile and API, and decide what is worth automating and what is not.

What we're looking for

• 2-4 years in QA with real automation experience, not just a course.
• Working knowledge of Python, Java, Kotlin or JavaScript.
• Hands-on with Appium, Espresso, XCUITest or similar.
• Comfortable with REST APIs and a tool like Postman.
• An opinion on what should not be automated.

Nice to have

• Experience testing in-app purchases or payment flows.
• Performance or load testing exposure.
• You have inherited a flaky suite and made it trustworthy.
