About the role
Guerilla 360 Integrated Solutions is hiring a mid-level QA Analyst to join an embedded engineering squad supporting one of our enterprise clients in the healthcare benefits sector. You'll own manual testing across a suite of web applications used daily by members, providers, and internal operations teams — systems where an undetected defect has real consequences for people's claims and coverage. This is a hands-on manual testing role. You'll work alongside developers, a business analyst, and a project manager in an Agile squad, testing features from user story through to production release.
What you'll do
- Review user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements, and raise gaps or ambiguities before development starts
- Design, write, and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data for functional, regression, integration, and UAT cycles
- Execute manual test cases across web and mobile-responsive applications; log clear, reproducible defects with severity and priority
- Perform end-to-end testing across integrated modules and third-party interfaces
- Track defects through to closure in Jira (or equivalent) and verify fixes
- Run regression suites for each sprint release and support UAT with business users
- Contribute to sprint ceremonies - planning, refinement, daily stand-ups, retrospectives
- Prepare test summary reports and communicate quality status and risks to the delivery team
- Validate data via basic SQL queries and check API responses where needed
What we're looking for
- 3-5 years of professional experience in manual software testing
- Strong grasp of QA fundamentals: SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, test design techniques (boundary value, equivalence partitioning, decision tables)
- Proven experience writing test cases and test scenarios from scratch based on requirements
- Hands-on experience with a test/defect management tool (Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar)
- Experience testing web-based enterprise applications in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman
- Strong written and verbal English communication - you'll be documenting defects and speaking directly with client stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, self-managing, and comfortable pushing back when something isn't right
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Nice to have
- Exposure to healthcare, HMO, insurance, or claims-processing systems
- Experience testing applications built on .NET / Java / React stacks
- Basic exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) - not required, but a plus if you want to grow into it
- Basic performance testing exposure (JMeter)
What we offer
- Competitive salary aligned with your experience
- HMO coverage and government-mandated benefits
- Hybrid work setup - details discussed during the interview
- Long-term engagement on a stable enterprise account
- A squad that treats QA as part of the build, not a gate at the end
