Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Python Full-Stack Engineer in Cebu, Philippines, to ship end-to-end features across Flask/Python backend, templates, and UI. You will connect web apps to AI systems, manage data with PostgreSQL, and build reliable integrations and background processing.

Ideal candidates have strong Python experience, Flask, PostgreSQL, and API integration skills, plus familiarity with AI coding tools to accelerate development in a hybrid, night-shift setup.

Responsibilities

• Ship end-to-end features across backend, templates, UI, and DB models.
• Extend workflows connecting apps to AI/voice systems and webhooks.
• Build REST APIs, OAuth flows, retries, idempotency, and background tasks.
• Manage relational data changes safely with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Redis.
• Leverage AI-native tools to read code, write tests, and accelerate delivery.

Your Role

As a Python Full-Stack Engineer, you will:

• Ship end-to-end features and fixes across Flask/Python backend code, Jinja templates, Bootstrap/JavaScript UI, database models, and external integrations.
• Extend agentic workflows connecting web applications to AI/voice systems, webhooks, queues, EHR/CRM platforms, and browser automation.
• Build reliable integrations, REST APIs, OAuth flows, retries, idempotency, and background processing systems.
• Manage relational data changes safely using PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, Alembic migrations, Redis, and queued processing.
• Leverage AI-native development environments (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT) to read code, write tests, refactor, and accelerate delivery.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Strong professional Python experience in a mature production codebase.
• Full-stack capability spanning backend logic/databases to HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript UI.
• Practical experience with Flask (or comparable Python web frameworks), PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, and schema migrations.
• Experience integrating 3rd-party APIs, debugging webhooks, and working with AWS/containerized application deployments.
• Demonstrated proficiency using AI coding tools (GPT, Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor) to accelerate development safely.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience with SQS, Redis, background workers, or asynchronous job-processing systems.
• Experience with Playwright or automated browser workflows.
• Familiarity with LLM/agentic applications, tool calling, prompt-driven workflows, or voice AI.
• Experience in healthcare software, EHR/FHIR integrations, or regulated environments.
• Ability to trace distributed failures across application logs, queues, external APIs, and databases.
