Capitole busca un Azure Data Engineer para un proyecto internacional centrado en la gestión y procesamiento de datos en un entorno basado en Azure. El rol se orienta principalmente a la adaptación y migración de capacidades existentes, replicando y ajustando funcionalidades en un backend distinto.

Se requieren experiencia sólida en Python 3.11+, Django, Django REST Framework, MongoDB Atlas, REST APIs y pandas/NumPy.

Qualifications

• Experiencia sólida con Python 3.11+ para procesamiento y migraciones.
• Conocimientos de Django y Django REST Framework para APIs y backend.
• Experiencia con MongoDB/MongoDB Atlas y REST APIs.
• Conocimientos de pandas y NumPy para data processing.
• Tests con pytest y flujo de Git/Jira/Confluence.
• Experiencia en entornos Azure y herramientas de DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Adaptar y migrar capacidades de gestión y procesamiento de datos a un nuevo backend.
• Trabajar en la cadena de carga a análisis (upload-to-analysis).
• Implementar gestión y manipulación de metadatos.
• Trabajar con procesos de carga, recuperación y eliminación de datos e integraciones con servicios externos.
• Asegurar que los patrones de arquitectura existentes se replican e integran correctamente.

We are looking for an Azure Data Engineer to join an international project focused on data management and processing within an Azure-based environment.

The role is mainly focused on adaptation and migration, implementing existing Data Area capabilities into another backend environment. The architecture and patterns are already established, so the main challenge will be to replicate and adapt existing functionalities rather than build them from scratch.

What are we looking for?

• Strong experience with Python 3.11+.
• Solid experience with Django and Django REST Framework.
• Experience with MongoDB, ideally MongoDB Atlas.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and external data services.
• Data processing experience with pandas and NumPy.
• Testing with pytest.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, code reviews, Jira and Confluence.
• Experience working in Azure environments.

Main responsibilities

• Adapt and migrate existing data management and processing capabilities into a new backend environment.
• Work on the upload-to-analysis chain.
• Implement metadata management and manipulation capabilities.
• Work with data upload, retrieval and deletion processes and external service integrations.
• Ensure the existing architecture patterns are correctly replicated and integrated.

Conditions

Language: English (C1) / Spanish (C1).

Location: FULLREMOTE.

Schedule: 40h/week. Flexible.
