Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Strong REST API design with FastAPI required.
• Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, and multi-container environments.
• Experience with AWS and CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline/CodeDeploy).
• Bitbucket version control experience is mandatory.
• API security implementation using JWT and OAuth2 required.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience in enterprise software/fintech environments preferred.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications and RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, Docker, AWS, CI/CD, and API security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.

• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications.

• Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and Docker Compose.

• Deploy and maintain applications in AWS environments using established CI/CD pipelines.

• Work with AWS CodePipeline and CodeDeploy for application deployment.

• Implement API versioning, authentication, authorization, error handling, and security controls.

• Implement API security using JWT and OAuth2.

• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

• Optimize application performance and database queries.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and secure development practices.
