Job description

The Factory Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all supply chain activities within the factory, including material planning, purchasing, inventory control, production scheduling, warehousing, and logistics. This role ensures the seamless flow of materials and products to support production efficiency, on-time delivery, cost control, and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Planning

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support production schedules and business requirements.
• Monitor material requirements planning (MRP) and ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging, and supplies.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize schedules and avoid bottlenecks.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Oversee inventory accuracy and conduct regular stock checks.
• Implement effective inventory control systems to minimize obsolescence and stockouts.
• Supervise warehouse operations to ensure proper storage, handling, and distribution.

Logistics & Distribution

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
• Manage transportation providers and optimize logistics costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements for transport and storage.
• Lead, train, and develop the supply chain team within the factory.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor and report key supply chain KPIs, driving corrective actions when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain, logistics, or factory operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, and production planning.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office tools.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
