Job summary

HRTx Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Lead to optimize materials planning, purchasing, and inventory control in support of production targets. The role involves close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to meet delivery, quality, and cost goals.

The candidate should have extensive experience in purchasing or supply chain, strong negotiation, and robust problem-solving abilities to address supply issues and maintain material availability for manufacturing lines. PEZA familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain.
• Strong negotiation and supplier coordination skills.
• Understanding of cost implications and cash flow in purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Handle purchase orders, releases, and supplier delivery coordination.
• Execute MRP actions and manage inventory for assigned areas.
• Ensure consistent material availability to support production requirements.
• Address supply issues, including expediting materials to avoid disruptions.
• Analyze delivery or stock issues and implement corrective actions.
• Work closely with operations and customer service on delivery updates.
• Maintain and improve kanban systems based on demand changes.
• Support cost reduction and inventory optimization initiatives.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and daily operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Handle purchase orders, releases, and supplier delivery coordination

• Execute MRP actions and manage inventory for assigned areas

• Ensure consistent material availability to support production requirements

• Address supply issues, including expediting materials to avoid disruptions

• Analyze delivery or stock issues and implement corrective actions

• Work closely with operations and customer service on delivery updates

• Maintain and improve kanban systems based on demand changes

• Support cost reduction and inventory optimization initiatives

• Participate in continuous improvement activities and daily operations

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain

• Working knowledge of Incoterms

• Exposure to local or regional sourcing

• Basic understanding of cost savings and financial impact (cost avoidance, reduction, cash flow)

• Familiarity with PEZA is a plus

• Strong coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
