Confidential Client in the Philippines seeks an experienced Associate Public Affairs Director to lead government relations, regulatory strategy, licensing support, and public policy initiatives. The role interfaces with executive leadership and key government agencies to ensure regulatory compliance and business growth in a highly regulated digital financial services sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Political Science, Economics, Law, Public Administration, or Business).
• Filipino national.
• 8–12 years in Government Relations, Public Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Communications, or Public Policy.
• Proven leadership in FinTech, Financial Services, Digital Lending, Banking, Telecom, or Tech.
• Extensive experience engaging with Philippine government agencies and regulators.
• Strong network across SEC, BSP, CIC, NPC, NBI, PNP and related bodies.
• Fluent English with excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute government relations, regulatory affairs, and public policy strategy.
• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, regulators, legislators, and industry associations.
• Serve as primary liaison with regulatory authorities including SEC, BSP, CIC, NPC, NBI, and PNP.
• Monitor legislative developments and policy updates affecting digital lending and financial services.
• Advise executives on regulatory risks, licensing matters, and public policy changes.
• Coordinate with Legal/Compliance to ensure alignment with regulations and data privacy rules.
• Lead government engagement initiatives, regulatory communications, and stakeholder meetings.
• Develop crisis communications strategies for regulatory or public affairs issues.
