Job summary

Far Eastern University (FEU) is seeking a dynamic Psychology Faculty Member for full-time and part-time roles. The candidate will design and deliver undergraduate psychology lectures, update curricula, and mentor students while conducting research and contributing to academic discourse.

The role involves collaboration with colleagues and participation in university-wide initiatives to advance FEU’s psychology program and education quality in Manila.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in BS Psychology or Behavioral Sciences.
• Master of Arts in Psychology; PhD preferred.
• Licensed Psychometrician and/or Psychologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering engaging, interactive psychology lectures and seminars to undergraduates.
• Developing and updating course materials, lesson plans and assessment tools to keep the curriculum relevant.
• Providing academic support and mentorship to students for personal and professional development.
• Conducting research and contributing to the academic discourse in psychology.
• Collaborating with colleagues to foster a collegial, supportive environment for faculty and students.
• Participating in university-wide initiatives and committees to support FEU’s growth.

The Opportunity

Far Eastern University (FEU) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Psychology Faculty Member to join our team on a full-time and part-time basis. As a Psychology Faculty Member, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our students, contributing your expertise and passion to the field of tertiary-level psychology.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and delivering engaging, interactive psychology lectures and seminars to undergraduate students
• Developing and updating course materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and aligned with industry standards
• Providing academic support and mentorship to students, guiding them in their personal and professional development
• Conducting research and contributing to the academic discourse within the field of psychology
• Collaborating with colleagues to foster a collegial and supportive environment for both faculty and students
• Participating in university-wide initiatives and committees to contribute to the overall growth and development of the institution

What we're looking for

• A graduate of BS Psychology or Behavioral Sciences
• Holds a Master of Arts degree in Psychology; a PhD in Psychology highly desirable
• Preferably a licensed Psychometrician and/or Psychologist
