Role Description

The Property Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Metro Manila, responsible for overseeing the financial performance of assigned properties. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and analyzing financial statements, recording and reviewing journal entries, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for property operations. The role involves maintaining general ledgers, reconciling accounts, and supporting monthly and annual closing activities. The Property Accountant will collaborate closely with property management teams to track budgets, monitor expenses, and provide financial insights that support operational and strategic decisions. This role also includes ensuring compliance with internal controls, relevant accounting standards, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting foundation, with skills in Accounting and Finance applicable to property management operations.
• Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret Financial Statements and support Financial Reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in recording, reviewing, and reconciling Journal Entries (Accounting) and maintaining accurate general ledgers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is an advantage.
• Experience in property management, real estate, or hospitality-related accounting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site in Metro Manila.
