Job summary

MRI Software in Ortigas is seeking a progressive accounting professional for core property accounting deliverables across assigned portfolios. The role emphasizes increasing independence, technical capability, and ownership of financial reporting and reconciliations.

You will process cash application, bank reconciliations, monthly reports, and support junior staff, with hybrid work (2 days WFH) and a competitive salary package. MRI emphasizes people-focused culture and growth opportunities.

• Prepare and complete bank reconciliations in MRI, resolving reconciling items.
• Prepare, review, and generate monthly financial reports for properties.
• Validate balance sheet balances against trial balance and GL for accuracy.
• Prepare supporting workbooks and schedules for clients.
• Address review notes from leads and clients in a timely manner.
• Provide training to new analysts on bank recs, cash processes, AP, and related tasks.

Job description

Progressive professional role responsible for core property accounting deliverables across assigned portfolios. Within this band, accountants demonstrate increasing independence, technical capability, and ownership of financial reporting, reconciliations, review-note resolution, and support for junior staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process cash application and AP coding as part of the monthly close and portfolio support cycle.
• Prepare and complete bank reconciliations in MRI, including investigation and resolution of reconciling items.
• Prepare, review, and generate monthly financial reports for assigned properties.
• Validate balance sheet balances and compare income statement activity to the trial balance/general ledger for accuracy.
• Prepare supporting workbooks and schedules required by each client.
• Clear review notes from task leads, reviewers, and clients in a timely manner.
• Provide training to new analysts/accountants on bank recs, cash receipts, AP, and other routine processes as proficiency increases.

• Ability to work independently while managing priorities and deadlines across multiple assignments.
• Effective written and verbal communication with internal teams and clients.
• Progressive ownership, problem-solving, and initiative before escalating routine items.

• Makes routine accounting decisions within assigned portfolio scope.
• Escalates complex accounting treatments, significant exceptions, and unresolved client risks.
• Independence increases by level, from foundational contributor (PA I) to advanced contributor/mentor (PA III).

REQUIREMENTS

• Typically 2-5+ years of property accounting and/or system experience, with progression within the band based on capability, consistency, and independence.
