Job summary

Bureau Veritas do Brasil seeks an experienced Projects Shop Inspection Coordinator to lead coordination of shop inspections for Oil & Gas, EPC and industrial projects. You will work with manufacturers, vendors and clients to ensure timely surveillance and strict quality verification in alignment with BV guidelines.

Required are 12–15 years in shop inspection coordination or related industrial projects, a degree in engineering, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related field.
• 12–15 years of experience in shop inspection coordination or related projects.
• Familiarity with BV Worldwide Shop Inspection Guidelines and English communication.

• Coordinate and manage shop inspection activities with manufacturers, vendors, clients, and inspection teams.
• Schedule inspections and ensure timely execution of shop surveillance and quality verification activities.
• Monitor vendor documentation, inspection requests, and manufacturing progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with BV Worldwide Shop Inspection Guidelines and client requirements.
• Coordinate inspection assignments, reports, punch items, and close-out activities.
• Maintain inspection records and support project quality and reporting requirements.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth inspection workflows.

• Coordinate and manage shop inspection activities with manufacturers, vendors, clients, and inspection teams.

• Ensure compliance with Bureau Veritas Worldwide Shop Inspection Guidelines and client requirements.

• Maintain inspection records and support project quality and reporting requirements.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth inspection workflows.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and project procedures throughout inspection activities.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• Minimum 12–15 years of experience in shop inspection coordination, quality inspection, or related industrial projects.
• Proven experience coordinating vendor/shop inspections for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, EPC, or Industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of Bureau Veritas Worldwide Shop Inspection Guidelines.
• Familiarity with BV HSE requirements, SIEBEL, and Q&S systems.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills in English.
• Strong reporting, document control, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for international project assignments.

• Vendor inspection coordination and expediting activities.
• Third-party inspection agencies and multinational project environments.
• Quality assurance and quality control processes for manufacturing and fabrication facilities.
