Qualifications

Responsibilities

The Project Site Nurse is responsible for administering the health and safety concerns related to the workers and staff at Project Genesis site. This includes providing emergency medical treatment, maintaining health records, promoting wellness programs, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. The role also involves collaborating with site management to maintain a safe working environment, ensuring that workers’ health needs are addressed promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Medical Assistance and Emergency Response:
• Provide first aid and emergency care to injured workers on-site.
• Assess medical situations and coordinate emergency response, including ambulance dispatch if necessary.
• Maintain a fully stocked and compliant first aid station.
• Health Monitoring:
• Conduct routine health checks for workers, including vital signs monitoring.
• Administer medications as prescribed by a physician.
• Monitor and record health-related incidents and maintain confidential medical records.
• Health and Safety Compliance:
• Assist the Safety Officer in implementing health programs and safety protocols.
• Ensure the site complies with government health regulations (DOLE, DOH, etc.).
• Participate in safety drills and emergency preparedness training.
• Education and Awareness:
• Conduct health awareness campaigns (e.g., hygiene, disease prevention, heat stress management).
• Provide health and wellness tips to site personnel.
• Train staff on basic first aid practices.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Prepare accident and incident reports.
• Maintain an updated medical inventory and order supplies when needed.
• Document worker health assessments and create reports for management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN)

• BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) training or certification is an advantage
