Role Overview

The Project Officer – Rail will provide technical support to the Team Leader and will actively contribute to the delivery of Rail Infrastructure Management Service. Your tasks will include:

1. Assist in developing project control activities including scheduling, forecasting, and other deliverables to a high standard.
2. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports, ensuring adherence to company document control systems and procedures.
3. Assist with the compilation and submission of project progress reports.
4. Monitor and control project budgets, analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities, and prepare detailed financial reports.
5. Operate and maintain the Lycopodium Maintenance Management System (MMS).
6. Contribute to the preparation of proposals, customer presentations, and business development activities as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualification in Project Management or equivalent.
• Minimum two years’ experience in an engineering or maintenance environment.
• Experience within the rail industry is desirable.
• Strong communication skills.
