Job summary

Salmon Group in Manila, Philippines seeks a Marketing Operations Manager to streamline cross-functional requests from brief to launch. You will own the marketing workflow, Jira boards, timelines, SLAs, and documentation, coordinating design, copy, CRM, SMM, website, procurement, and legal review.

You'll be at the intersection of marketing and operations, turning a chaotic stream of requests into a structured process with clear ownership, milestones, and escalation paths in a hybrid,

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing, marketing operations, or marketing project management, with a working understanding of how marketing campaigns and communications get launched.
• End-to-end experience managing projects or marketing requests with many parallel tasks and stakeholders.
• Strong cross-functional coordination skills — experience working with creative, business, legal, procurement, CRM/SMM, or similar functions.
• Strong structural and process mindset: able to turn a chaotic stream of requests into a clear workflow with defined ownership, timelines, and rules of engagement.
• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar task/project management systems, including boards, statuses, workflows, and task breakdown.
• Strong stakeholder management: able to gather missing information, manage expectations, hold deadlines, and elevate or redirect requests with clear reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Own promo and communication requests end-to-end, from brief intake to launch, publication, and result confirmation.
• Own the marketing workflow itself — the Jira board, task breakdown, statuses, deadlines, SLAs, templates, automation, and documentation — not just individual projects.
• Work at the intersection of marketing and project/operations management: brief creative functions directly while structuring a complex process with many stakeholders.
• Run the Jira board as the single entry point for promo and communication requests, checking brief completeness, timeline realism, and task accuracy.
• Break requests into subtasks for design, copywriting, CRM, SMM, website, procurement, legal/permits, and other functions, assign owners, and track dependencies.
• Manage each request end-to-end from brief to delivery/publication and closure, including verifying the actual outcome.
• Track deadlines and real task status, flag risks early, and escalate stalled tasks.
• Maintain a single marketing calendar and keep it in sync with Jira to avoid conflicts across timelines, resources, and overlapping campaigns.
• Develop and improve cross-functional processes: SLAs, request templates, checklists, workflows, escalation procedures, documentation, and Jira automation.

About the role:
