Job summary

Optum Philippines is seeking an implementation-focused Project Manager to join our team in the Philippines. You will work with stakeholders to align project scope with strategic objectives and drive cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, adherence to budgets, and using project management tools to deliver results in a Fortune 5 company’s global health care platform.

Qualifications

• Undergrad degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of project management experience using data to make business decisions.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Consult with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of program/project scope and objectives with the organization's strategic objectives and the Voice of the Customer
• Raise awareness of any misalignment or misunderstanding of project scope and objectives with applicable stakeholders
• Identify project duration, effort, sequence and dependencies of tasks required to meet applicable project objectives
• Develop/contribute to project budgets and forecasts, obtaining approvals from applicable stakeholders
• Apply project life cycle methodology and tools as you develop, document and implement project communication plans
• The most challenging part of this role? Effectively working with multiple project teams and stakeholders on project implementations. Our teams require flexibility utilizing various methodologies and tools. You'll need to drive collaboration in a cross-matrix environment leveraging your ability to build relationships and keep on track with the project scope and timeline.
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment).
