Opportunity Overview
- Lead or manage projects, programs, or portfolios from conception through completion, including process improvement, cost savings, software development, and transfer of technology, using project management techniques and processes.
- Collaborate with multiple cross-functional groups over the project life cycle; coordinate dependencies and timing of deliverables within project constraints: scope, schedule, and budget.
- Implement defined project management processes and procedures. Monitor project management compliance of other functional groups and assist when needed.
- Communicate the status of projects to stakeholders, including Senior Management; escalate issues as needed. Serve as the point of contact for issues and concerns.
- Present regular project updates to Project Sponsors and Stakeholders.
- Build PM training materials and conduct training, as necessary.
- Attend to Project Management Office operational tasks and provide support to operations in linking organizational strategies to project execution and goals.
All About You
- College graduate of any 4-year course; preferably Industrial Engineering or Information Technology.
- At least 3 years’ experience in leading/managing projects or continuous improvement activities.
- Minimum 1 year experience in leading/managing Software Development Projects.
- Excellent communication and composition skills with the ability to foster communication and integration between project teams and/or functional groups.
- Analytical, process oriented and strong documentation skills.
- Outstanding organization and planning skills.
- Excellent facilitation, collaboration and negotiation skills.
- Must have strong interpersonal, teamwork, stakeholder management and project management skills.
- Ability to work with different levels of the organization and cross-functional groups.
- Knowledge of MS Office and Lean Six Sigma Methodologies is an advantage.
- PMP Certification is a plus.
