A leading company in the construction industry is seeking a Project Manager to oversee fit-out and refurbishment projects. The role involves managing site safety, coordinating subcontractor efforts, and ensuring project milestones are met. Candidates should hold a degree in Engineering or Architecture and possess a PRC license with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Manage fit-out and refurbishment projects from notice of award to hand-over including site safety, construction management, subcontractor/supplier coordination, project planning, progress reporting and close-out.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage and control progress, productivity and quality
- Lead and manage site safety and security
- Manage RFI and submittal process including approvals for samples, mock-ups, shop drawings, etc
- Manage admin manpower, material and equipment planning and allocation
- Manage and coordinate all subcontractors works including off-site production
- Identify, document and seek approval for changes to project scope
- Conduct weekly construction and safety meetings
- Prepare weekly progress reports and look ahead
- Conduct regular safety audits in conjunction with HSE team
- Coordinate preparation and submission of as-built plans
- Finalize O&M manuals and conduct facility orientation and training
- Close-out final accounts for on time in full payment
Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in Engineering or Architecture, PRC license
- At least 5 years experience in a similar role in office fit-out, refurbishments or construction
- Familiar with National Building Code, Fire Code, Design Codes & OSHA standards
