Job summary

Thoth AI is seeking an experienced onsite Project Manager in the Philippines to lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale AI and data-related projects. You will oversee daily operations, resource planning, and KPI performance while guiding cross-functional teams to meet targets.

The role emphasizes quality assurance, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement, with exposure to Six Sigma/Kaizen methods and tools like Jira, Airtable, Smartsheet, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM/Data Science/related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of supervisory or managerial experience handling large-scale data, AI, or tech projects in a BPO/operations environment.
• Strong understanding of KPI-driven operations, quality management, workforce planning, and data workflows.
• Strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using project management and productivity tools such as Jira, Airtable, Smartsheet, Excel, or Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and targets are met.
• Plan resources, monitor milestones, and oversee daily operations to achieve KPIs.
• Develop and maintain quality assurance processes, including calibration sessions and retraining.
• Track and analyze metrics such as accuracy, productivity, quality trends, and rejection drivers.
• Lead, coach, and develop Team Leads, QA Reviewers, and Annotators.
• Partner with internal teams and client stakeholders to provide updates and implement solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement using Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and operational targets are consistently met.
• Plan resources, monitor project milestones, and oversee daily operations to achieve productivity, quality, and turnaround-time KPIs.
• Develop and maintain quality assurance processes, including calibration sessions, performance reviews, and retraining initiatives.
• Track and analyze key operational metrics such as accuracy, productivity, quality trends, and rejection drivers.
• Lead, coach, and develop Team Leads, QA Reviewers, and Annotators, driving accountability and continuous performance improvement.
• Partner with internal teams and client stakeholders to provide project updates, address operational challenges, and implement actionable solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and apply Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Data Science, Psychology, Linguistics, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
• 3–5 years of supervisory or managerial experience handling large-scale data, AI, or technology-related projects within a BPO or operations environment.
• Strong understanding of KPI-driven operations, quality management, workforce/resource planning, and data workflows.
• Strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using project management and productivity tools such as Jira, Airtable, Smartsheet, Excel, or Google Sheets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI data annotation, data labeling, machine learning, or RLHF projects.
• Exposure to multimodal data operations, including text, audio, image, or video.
• Six Sigma Green Belt, Kaizen, or similar process improvement certification is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or Python is a plus.
