Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. The role ensures that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards, specifications, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management
- Plan, organize, and manage all phases of construction projects.
- Develop project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation plans.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Coordinate project activities with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and contract requirements.
Site Operations and Supervision
- Oversee daily construction site operations and activities.
- Supervise project engineers, site supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and progress.
- Resolve project issues and delays in a timely manner.
- Ensure proper implementation of construction methods and procedures.
Budget and Cost Control
- Prepare and monitor project budgets and cost estimates.
- Control project expenditures and ensure cost efficiency.
- Review and approve project purchases and material requests.
- Monitor project billing, variations, and change orders.
- Prepare financial and progress reports for management.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure construction work meets company quality standards and client expectations.
- Conduct quality inspections and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and building regulations.
Health, Safety, and Compliance
- Enforce workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and site audits.
- Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and safety concerns.
Client and Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project matters.
- Attend project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare project status reports and presentations.
- Maintain project records, contracts, permits, and documentation.
- Submit weekly and monthly progress reports to management.
- Ensure proper turnover and project closeout documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Licensed Civil Engineer or Architect is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, and cost control.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.

Qualifications:
