Job Title: Project Management & Engineering Head

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

Job Overview

The Project Management & Engineering Head acts as the arm of the Chief Operating Officer and is primarily responsible for monitoring the performance delivery and compliance of the Operations Group (Site Acquisition, Construction, and Maintenance) to company standards and to regulatory and government requirements. Lead the group to mitigate and control various risks affecting the operations. As Project Management & Engineering Head, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of all new and current projects in MR DIY Philippines. You will work closely with the management team to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will also manage a team of engineers and project managers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management (Operations and Compliance) – Drives the transformation mindset of the departments under Operations Group by facilitating process analysis, gap assessments and applying continuous process improvement.
2. Oversees the performance and output of the Operations Group (BD and Engineering Departments), acting as adviser on process improvements and operational strategies.
3. Ensures that BD and Engineering Departments projects and programs are aligned with the company's overall direction.
4. Determines how projects or programs are measured; monitors results against targets and ensures alignment with the charter.
5. Enables BD and Engineering Department leaders by equipping them with the necessary project management or process improvement tools or methodologies to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Conducts health checks of department projects or programs including budget and resource management.
7. Ensures that operations processes and procedures are compliant with company standards and regulatory and government requirements; flags compliance risks to the COO and CEO and ensures action by the accountable party.
8. Builds strong compliance by facilitating the development or update of policies and procedures related to Business Development and Engineering operations.
9. Devices mechanisms to monitor and track departmental compliance.
