A leading construction company seeks a Project-in-Charge to manage various construction projects. The successful candidate will oversee planning, implementation, and coordination with stakeholders, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Applicants must possess a professional license in Architecture and have significant experience in relevant fields.
As a Project-in-Charge, manages and leads the assigned scope of works of the projects assigned to him/her. Helps in the implementation of the Project Operational Plan, Project Quality, Inspection, and Construction Safety and Health Program.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Implementation:
Develop comprehensive project plans including deliverables, requirements, and timelines.
Execute project activities ensuring adherence to schedule, quality standards, and budget constraints while prioritizing safety.
Review of final construction drawing and material specifications prior execution.
Attend and facilitate kick off meeting internal/external meeting to familiarize with the scope of work, timeline and deliverables.
To facilitate the team for the Safety Orientation with Building Administration prior mobilization.
Implement day to day operations target, scope of work, deliverables on site.
Implement quality of work on all trades in handling projects.
Preparation of Material Request (MR) and monitoring of Material Deliverables.
Reporting and Communication:
Prepare detailed reports updating head office on project status, issues, and proposed resolutions.
Facilitate weekly project meetings on site with all vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment.
Prepare MOM (Minutes of the meeting) every weekly and coordination meeting to ensure all discussion are being noted.
Prepare COC/milestone certificate of progress billings.
Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:
Cultivate meaningful relationships with relevant authorities, stakeholders, and departments.
Coordinate with all vendors, subcontractors and stakeholders to meet deadlines and project requirements.
Resource Management and Control:
Manage and oversee the commitments of administrative staff and subcontractors.
Monitor and control project performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure success.
Project Close-out and Documentation:
Oversee project close-out procedures including turnover and documentation preparation.
Maintain all relevant project documentation, organizational charts, and reports.
Maintain all test results of engineering works and other scope needed testing and commissioning.
Prepare O & M manual and Collate all As-Built for submission to Client and Recording
JOB QUALIFICATION:
Educational background / Qualifications: Candidate must possess at least Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) of Architecture
Work Experience required: At least 3 Year(s) of relevant experience in the related field of Architecture, Interior Design or related discipline.
Must have at least 3 years of on-site experience handling office fit-out projects.
Well-organized and able to meet project deadlines
Average communication and coordination skills
Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant software
Good understanding of quality standards
Must be willing to be relocated to Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas, or Mindanao.
