Job summary

RTX in Tanauan City, Batangas, within the First Philippine Industrial Park, is hiring a Project Engineer for a hybrid role. You will lead full project lifecycles from planning to implementation, coordinating with program management, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and design engineering.

Your work includes developing plans and budgets, tracking progress, mitigating risks, and reporting to stakeholders. A mechanical/industrial/ aerospace background and 4–5+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or related).
• 4–5+ years in project engineering or project management roles.
• Knowledge of engineering development, manufacturing processes, and aerospace systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle from planning through implementation.
• Coordinate with program management, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and design engineering.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets to hit cost targets.
• Monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare reports and communicate status to stakeholders and senior management.
• Manage project documentation, proposals, and statements of work.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality, and safety regulations (EHS).

Job Description

• Manage the full project lifecycle from planning, design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as program management, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and design engineering to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within cost targets.
• Monitor project progress and performance, including schedule, cost, and technical deliverables.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or technical issues.
• Prepare reports and communicate status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Manage project documentation, proposals, and work statements as required for program execution.

Required Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or related field).
• 4–5+ years of experience in project engineering, project management, or similar technical roles.
• Knowledge of engineering development, manufacturing processes, and aerospace systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient with software such as Primavera, Siemens NX, Solidworks and Microsoft Office (ie. MS Project)
• Proven understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practices
• Courage to explore new ideas, learn new technologies, a proactive desire to learn
• Passion for technology and creative mindset
• PMP or ACP certified is a plus.
