Job summary

A7 Recruitment Company seeks an Electrical Engineer with 2–5 years of hands-on renewable energy experience to design, size, and optimize solar PV and energy storage projects in the Philippines. You will conduct site assessments, perform calculations, and prepare detailed engineering drawings and reports.

Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery, compliance with local regulations, and high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or renewable energy engineering is required.
• 2–5 years of hands-on renewable energy experience is preferred.
• Experience in design, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, or maintenance of renewable energy systems.
• Familiarity with PVsyst or HOMER or equivalent tools.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, energy storage, and electrical components.
• Knowledge of engineering calculations, sizing, drawings, specs, and performance analysis.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and detail-oriented skills.
• Good communication and coordination with clients and teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

1. Design and develop renewable energy systems and energy storage solutions.
2. Conduct technical feasibility studies, system sizing, site assessments, and detailed
   engineering designs.
3. Perform engineering calculations and provide technical support throughout the
   project lifecycle, from initial design through installation and commissioning.
4. Coordinate and oversee project implementation to ensure technical requirements,
   project timelines, safety, and quality standards are achieved.
5. Prepare and maintain accurate engineering drawings, technical reports, project
   documentation, and system performance records.
6. Analyze system performance data and identify opportunities to improve energy
   generation, reliability, efficiency, and overall system performance.
7. Work closely with clients, engineers, technicians, contractors, and other
   stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
8. Ensure all renewable energy projects comply with applicable Philippine regulations,
   electrical standards, safety requirements, and industry best practices.
9. Keep up to date with emerging renewable energy technologies, equipment,
   engineering practices, and industry developments.
10. Recommend practical technical improvements, system upgrades, and optimization
    measures across renewable energy projects.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, renewable energy engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
2. 2–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in renewable energy, electrical, or energy-related projects.
3. Practical experience in the design, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, or maintenance of renewable energy systems.
4. Familiarity with renewable energy design and simulation software such as PVsyst, HOMER, or equivalent tools.
5. Strong technical understanding of solar photovoltaic systems, energy storage solutions, and associated electrical components.
6. Good understanding of engineering calculations, system sizing, electrical drawings, technical specifications, and performance analysis.
7. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
8. Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, technical teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
9. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
