Job summary

San Miguel Global Power is seeking a Project Electrical Engineer to coordinate delivery, design implementation, installation and commissioning of a BESS plant in Navotas. You will monitor progress, ensure safety, and keep detailed project documentation.

The role requires collaboration with contractors and internal teams to meet the construction plan and schedule. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years in Renewable Energy or BESS projects and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Renewable Energy, BESS, or related construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of battery energy storage systems (BESS), electrical engineering, renewable energy, and power substation construction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and deliver effective project solutions.
• Willing to be assigned to the Navotas BESS Project Site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure timely equipment delivery and safe construction and commissioning activities.
• Monitor site progress, quality, and compliance with technical specifications and project schedules.
• Prepare weekly project status reports and implement risk mitigation plans.
• Inspect electrical equipment and maintain accurate delivery, inventory, and project documentation.
• Review electrical drawings, technical manuals, and coordinate equipment logistics with Procurement and Warehouse teams.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards and perform other assigned project-related duties.

The Project Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the coordination and monitoring of the Electrical delivery, design implementation, installation and Commissioning of the BESS Plant. This role is also responsible for ensuring the timely execution of the Project Construction Plan and Schedule.
