About the role

As the Project Head at Diamond Drilling Corporation of the Philippines, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of underground drilling projects in the Cordillera Administrative Region. This full-time position is responsible for leading cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

• Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of project execution, including procurement, resource allocation, and risk mitigation
• Serve as the primary liaison between the company, clients, and other stakeholders, effectively communicating project status and addressing any concerns
• Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and drive operational efficiency
• Mentor and develop a team of project managers and other construction professionals

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the drilling industry
• Specific experience in underground drilling operations is essential
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is required
• Proven track record of successfully managing drilling projects from inception to completion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical, cost-effective solutions
• Proficient in project management software and tools, such as scheduling, budgeting, and risk management
• Bachelor's degree qualification is required
• Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required
