Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Project Development of Renewable Energy projects.
• Detail-oriented and well organized with multi-project management.
• Able to foster relationships across diverse backgrounds.
• Experienced in stakeholder management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate budget requests of workstream owners and prepare the annual project budget, and monitor spend-to-date.
• Manage internal project development team and ensure workstreams align with schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants for environmental, technical, and financial studies.
• Prepare and review project documents such as Anaplan models, presentations, feasibility studies, and market reports.
• Update project trackers and board papers; follow up on directives from Board meetings.
• Lead or assist in regulatory activities for assigned projects and ensure compliance with policies.
• Serve as primary regulator liaison; maintain good relations with authorities and stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations and standards affecting business interests in the Philippines.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related

Job description

Manage and execute development activities for assigned project(s), from inception to shovel-ready status:

• Consolidate budget requests of workstream owners and prepare the annual project


• budget, and monitor actual spent-to-dates


• Manage internal project development team, making sure that workstreams are aligned


• with project schedule and budget all the while ensuring that team is motivated, effectively and efficiently pursuing project goals.


• Prepare and review various project related documents such as, but not limited to:


• Anaplan, presentations, feasibility studies, industry analyses, market reports, project/tasks implementation schedules, plans and communications.


• Manage and coordinate with contractors and consultants in the preparation of various


• studies (environmental, technical, financial etc) needed for the project.


• Establish, manage and maintain good relations with project partners/proponents, host communities, local government and other stakeholders


• Monitor project development progress and compliance with Vena Energy standards,


• policies and procedures.


• Update the ANAPLAN Project Tracker and Devex Tracker.


• Prepare and review Board Papers presented during the meetings of the Board of Directors, as well as accomplish and follow up on tasks and directives they issue.

B. For Regulatory Affairs:

Lead or assist in managing and executing regulatory activities for assigned project(s):

• Prepare and submit required applications and reports to regulatory agencies making sure


• that these comply with company policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.


• Track and monitor the status of submissions and applications to ensure timely approval.


• Serve as primary regulatory authority contact for assigned project(s), attending meetings, making presentations and communicating regularly with authorities to maintain good relations.


• Maintain current knowledge of regulations, policies and standards pertinent to business


• interests in the Philippines.


• Keeps track of proposed industry rules, laws, standards and other regulations that impact the operations of the company and its allied business units in the Philippines.


• Perform other tasks as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or any related course


• At least 5 years in Project Development of Renewable Energy projects


• Detail-orientated, organized, and effective in managing multiple projects


• Able to foster relationships across diverse backgrounds and positions


• Experienced in stakeholder management


• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
